Streak color for black hair?

Ok so im 13. Wana be different for a change. I've had black hair since i was born, what i need to know is what would be a good streak color for my black hair. Im considering blue [fav. color] and thats basically it. My hair cut so far is side bangs[right side] and medium length. =] thankies

well i have black hair too..%26amp; ive considered streaks too. but you have to make sure that before you put the streaks in, you have to bleach those parts so they show. blue would definitely look good, or purple. go for it!

Red always looks good on black hair. Blue does too, but black is already has a blue undertone and the red would be a nice contrast. Blonde can look goofy, and even more goofy when it grows out, you'd have to touch it up a lot. You will notice roots very soon, and you would have to keep up with it. If you want to be original, you can put a few chunky red streaks on the top sections of your hair so it's easier for you and the stylist to touch up, and it will be cheaper. the best thing to do it experiment and see what you like best!
